Bismillah

I am a fashion designer and own the company Hijabi Couture. I started to practice Islam and wear hijab more than a dozen years ago. When I first started to wear hijab, I had no idea of how to get it to stay on my head, let alone style it. I didn't know where to shop for Islamic garb until I had been practicing Islam for more than 5 years. Sisters weren't very helpful. I dreamed about becoming a fierce seamstress and never feeling like I was out of place again. I think that every muslima in the West goes through these struggles. So, I took sewing classes and studied design. I moved to Morocco and began my dream clothing company, Hijabi Couture. We launched a website, http://www.hijabicouture.com/ and are now opening a boutique in Marrakech. There are so many difficulties and joys that I never could have foreseen and I hope that this blog will be a place where I can chronicle them and learn from others. Please visit the site and let me know what you think about our styles. Welcome to Hijabi Couture! To purchase the Poet's Tunic, please click on the secure link below:

Culturally tasteful, creative, colorful use of design, fabrics and leather!!! Hijabi Coutoure's future, as a web based enterprise, is timely and socially responsible by benefiting orphaned Moroccan children.
Would like to know more about investment opportunities.

Esalaamu aleikoum dear sister,

By chance I found your blog! all your clothes are quite nice, tasteful and elegant. I have found it very difficult for years to find stylish clothes for Muslims, esp in the US where it is all the same paper cut out ME style clothes which are expensive and never fit right! and since moving to NA, yes there are many clothes but again all are either not modest or boxy clothes I would see grandmothers in. nice to see some interesting and stylish; I am in Algeria, so it would be hard for me to buy online but curious where is your shoppe in Marrekech? enchallah would love to visit! Allah maaki
